Our Activities

Vidyasagar Smriti Pathagar

A library was established to commemorate the Bicentenary Birth Anniversary of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar with an aim of generating interest in reading books. Patronage and constant moral and financial support of a number of well-wishers have made this possible. Usually, we observe important occasions like Birth Anniversaries of Vidyasagar, Rabindranath

Tagore, Independence Day, International Language Day (“Vasha-Dibas”) etc. here through a sublime-sincere function. We try to get local people involved in these observances. Poor and needy students of the locality are also given books through the library.

Cultural Competitions

Every year we arrange various cultural competitions. Many students from surrounding schools heartily take part in Sit & Draw, Recitation, Singing, Dance Performances, Creative Writing Contests (in the forms of Poems, Short Stories and Essays), and Quiz Contests. This year, a separate contest was arranged on Recitation of poems written in Santali language.
